KieranTimberlake: Drawn + Quartered Exhibit Closing Reception
KieranTimberlake has opened their studio to the public with an exhibit called Drawn + Quartered. Presented in tandem with a show at the Architectural Archives of the University of Pennsylvania, this exhibit of full-scale models and life-size mockup experiments includes a custom facade strut for the new US Embassy in London, an 11-foot-tall polyurethane shading fin built for Brown University's School of Engineering, self-shading, lightweight concrete cast tests for a housing system developed specifically for India's climate, and 3D-printed prototypes of Pointelist, a turn-key building sensor network developed by the firm.
Open since May 2016, the Northern Liberties exhibit is on view in the former Ortlieb Brewery's Bottling House, a 1940s building renovated by KieranTimberlake. Please join us for the show's closing reception on Friday, October 14 from 6:00 - 9:00PM.
