Shifting Trends: How Home Has Influenced the Workplace

Thursday October 6th: 5:30PM - 8:30PM
Ticket Price: Free

The distinction between the design of workplaces and residences has been dissolving over the past decade. Design elements, such as furniture, finishes, and lighting, that were traditionally thought to be used exclusively in the home have begun to make their way into places of business. With the implementation of mobile technology and shifting demographics in the workforce, trends like flex space, collaboration hubs, standing desks, soft or lounge furniture, and even kitchens have become common place in offices, including ours. The work of L2Partridge reflects these changing attitudes toward places of business and has become prolific throughout our portfolio.

Join us for an open house and exhibition of the work of L2Partridge, particularly curated to the theme of “Shifting Trends: How home has influenced the workplace.” Various projects that demonstrate this shifting trend will be displayed and discussed throughout the event. Guests will be encouraged to engage with our designers to learn more about the process and execution of each project. Finishes, lighting, and furniture used in the projects will also be on display allowing guests to better understand this shifting trend. The open house will be on Thursday, October 6th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Our lobby, conference rooms, and gathering space will be open to the public for the display of our projects.
