Stephen Burks Man Made Collab
From Friday, October 7th through Saturday, October 15th a special exhibition titled “Stephen Burks Man Made Collab” will be on display in the Roche Bobois showroom at 311 Arch Street. The exhibit will include several pieces from Burks' sculptural Material Compositions as well as his furniture designs for the new Roche Bobois Traveler Outdoor Collection, featuring vibrant leather woven cord. The exhibition will be open to the public daily, 10:00am - 6:00pm and on Sunday from 12:00pm - 5:00pm.
Collab at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Center for Architecture + Design and Roche Bobois invite you to the Opening of Stephen Burks Man Made Collab, an exhibition of the furniture and lighting design of Stephen Burks. Burks has been called “America’s Hottest Furniture Designer” by Bloomberg Businessweek and is the 2015 recipient of the National Design Award in Product Design. His furniture and products unite contemporary design, authentic craft traditions and industrial manufacturing by “returning the hand to industry.” Based in New York, Burks has designed for international clients including Boffi, Cappellini, Dedon, Harry Winston, Missoni, Swarovski, and Roche Bobois.
